Robert Buckland, is a barrister specialising in criminal law with over sixteen years of experience of prosecuting and defending the most serious cases that come before the Crown Court. He has dealt with many cases involving mental health issues, ranging from murder to drugs, and is extremely familiar with the provisions of the Mental Health Act 1983.
A former County Councillor, Robert was selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for South Swindon. He is co-ordinator of the Swindon Special Educational Needs Network and is a Governor of The Ridgeway School, Wroughton. He is married with two young children.
