Lynne Thompson is the National Information and Events Organiser for the NGVFA, she has been with the Charity since September 2007.
Lynne was formerly a Support Co-ordinator for Direct Payments, supporting and advising people with all types of disabilities, this lends itself to her current position within the organisation.
Her primarily role is to co-ordinate information events nationally and the NGVFA annual respite break ensuring that the charities services are promoted to everyone that may benefit i.e. Veterans, their partners and their families. Links to other organisations could prove beneficial in terms of increasing awareness of the NGVFA and its objectives and in turn may help elicit support this will also enhance networking and interagency working.
