The British National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists has no vested interest in any insurance policies supplied by any company nor do we recommend any company. All members should satisfy themselves that any insurance that they purchase is adequate for their particular practice.

The cover offered by Moscrops Robinson & Chadwick under their Medical Auxiliary Insurance Brokers scheme is for 2.5 million pounds with premiums starting from £68 inclusive.

Covering therapists to practice, Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy, Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology, Stress Counselling.

It does not cover Stage Hypnosis.

As a subsidiary of our parent company, Moscrop Robinson & Chadwick who were established in 1892, we feel that we can offer unrivalled independent advice and service in all aspects of insurance and with particular regard to medical malpractice cover for complementary practitioners.

We have been running our scheme for over 15 years and are now regarded as one of the leaders in the field, on a national scale.

Our basic policy, (which is underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance) provides third party liability cover for claims emanating from members of the public in respect of death and/or personal injury and damage to property, caused by the negligence of the practitioner including:

Injury/illness arising out of the malpractice of the therapy.

Liability arising from the sale or supply of products in connection with the course of treatments.

Injury/illness whilst on or about the practitioners premises.

The basic limit of indemnity is £2.5 million anyone claim and the policy is written on a 'claims occurring' basis, meaning that providing the cover was in force at the time the alleged incident took place, the policy will address the claim. This avoids the necessity of keeping the cover in force after the retirement of the individual practitioner.

We are able to include most non-intrusive . therapies all on the one policy.

The policy can be extended to include workshops/exhibitions, tuition risk and also to cover loss and/or damage to any business equipment, including stock used in connection with the therapy.

Dependant on the therapies you insure, premiums start from £68.00 inc.
Insurance Premium Tax for 2.5 million Limit of Indemnity, and we are able to increase this limit for an additional premium, if higher cover is required.
