Psychological and Physical Effects of Trauma
A one day Conference
Friday, 3 July 2009, at the Swindon Marriott Hotel (directions). Time: 09.15 – 17.15
Following on from our successful PTSD conference last year, The National Register of Advanced Hypnotherapists and the Swindon PTSD Working Group are pleased to be hosting another event taking place at the Swindon Marriott hotel. The conference counts as a CPD event. The aim of the conference is to promote a wider awareness and understanding of the psychological and physical effects of trauma on those who have suffered traumatic experiences. The conference is non profit making.
The Swindon Marriott Hotel, Towergate insurance, Anglo American Books, Hypnoke International and Sounds Commercial have helped by sponsoring the event.
The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health along with the GHR, HCB, APHP, NRAH, UKCHO are helping by supporting the event.
This sponsorship and support has made it possible for us to hold down the costs for the day. Any monies raised, after expenses, will be donated to two organisations that are helping people with Trauma/PTSD.

The Forces Childrens’ Trust, and The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Assoc. (SSAFA)
Kevan Jones MP – Parliamentary Under Secretary of Defence, Minister for Veterans, will deliver the Keynote address: The government’s position on helping veterans. Anne Snelgrove, MP for Swindon South will introduce the Minister.
Andrew Murrison Conservative front bench defence spokesman will be introduced by Robert Buckland - candidate for Swindon South.

Cost
Conference £50. Complimentary lunch and tea/coffee will be provided on the day.
